It is our goal to develop statewide standards in training that promote effective ways to identify, evaluate and treat victims of child abuse and neglect. Our program offers a multidisciplinary model of care that is sensitive to the emotional and medical needs of the victim, while providing state-of-the-art evidence collection techniques.
Goals and Objectives
- Increase access to qualified medical personnel.
- Increase knowledge and skills of health care providers.
- Increase knowledge about prevention and intervention.
- Increase knowledge and standards of forensic examination protocols of the criminal justice and social work professionals.
- Increase knowledge of the interpretation of findings of the criminal justice and social work professionals.
