SEXUAL ASSAULT FORENSIC EXAMINER TRAINING FOR HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS December 6-10, 2010 -- Sacramento, CA Registration will open Fall 2010 This five-day program focuses on fundamental forensic examination techniques for adult and adolescent victims of sexual assault. Using the CalEMA 2-923 form (formerly OES 923) and California Medical Protocol for Examination of Sexual Assault and Child Sexual Abuse Victims, this course is designed for the inexperienced examiner and teaches basic knowledge, skills and attitudes. CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT The University of California, Davis Health System is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (AACME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. This course meets the qualifications for 35 hours of continuing education credit for marriage and family therapists and/or licensed clinical social workers as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Participants must attend the entire course, write license number on the roster, and complete the course evaluation to earn credit.
